I want this special girl on my profile. For those who don’t know, Katie gained angel wings this past Sunday. I met Katie in D.C. 3 years ago and we instantly connected us being the only 2 there with both Gastroparesis and RA. It’s hard to put into words how much I’m going to miss her. This girl was truly something special and she’ll continue to be an inspiration to me. I’ll forever be grateful for the way she shared her journey with all of us—like how she found small pieces of joy to hold on to despite all her medical complications like her colorful French Bob or her hoodie with cat ears.🌈🦄🌺
There’s good and bad to everything.
Have you told yourself you’re proud of YOU today? 🤩
First really good day in probably 2 months so of course I did what I typically do in this situation.😅
I wish I could still do this.😢
Love, hugs, & peace. You are not alone. You matter 💗☮️

Thanks for coming!

Thank you for visiting my blog. I am so happy you are here! I created this blog back in 2011 on tumblr because I felt there was a need for someone to talk about how chronic illness affects not just our bodies, but our souls as well. Always remember, this is a safe space for you to vent, scream, and be yourself. :)
